One thing I’ll never understand:
Misshapen carrots taste the same, but have more character than beautifully sculptures ones. One clear advantage is that one action of the knife can produce two cuts. Why are they sold at a discount?
One thing I do understand:
How to slice carrots so the perfectly round slices do not roll away. Cut them obliquely into ellipses.
