Quick! Before it dies!

The Camellia is blooming and,
as Camellias do,
already dropping yesterday’s blossoms. They
lie rejected beneath the bush
like so much refuse.

Lucy was very sure she must
sniff this cutting in case it might
be something sweet.

I think it’s so funny how the camera caught her moving in. Like a predator!
