We will find each other
like contrasts anchoring
or opposites that don’t conflict.
Through double lenses we will look
differently at the world, read like a story
full of unexpected twist and turns.
An unfolding eye, a proliferation. A dream
taking root in a place from where it
calmly defies all measured agreements.
We will follow the demands
as drawn up by the game. We will
seemingly fall in line.
But give us a crack, a chance
and watch us spread — abundantly
endlessly.
The SAPLING series is a joint project with artist and illustrator Jurgen Walschot.
