As if rolling over under a comforter my world shifted just now as if testing edges of its crysallis and finding it crowded.

A notion to look for light
flicked through naked trees
and tried nudging sappy veins,
still rigid, not quite ready.

The worm turns and leaves its blessing.

The soil rests up for February.
