I am tired of reading all the psycho-babble about our esteemed Commander-in-Chief. One diagnosis, malignant narcissism, captures the severity of his condition.

The election of Donald Trump wasn’t a great surprise to me once Hillary became the Democratic candidate over Bernie Sanders. Now, I am curious; can we learn something valuable out of nothing good? Is there a story to be told which only the ardent Trump supporter can tell? What is the “Trump Effect?” How are the unwitting and weary affected? Unfortunately, understanding them will not help in deciphering him.

My objective is to take a closer look at the Trump inured mind. Calling Trump supporter crazy, uninformed, or, lacking in mental acuity doesn’t help me understand them or why those loyal followers do not question Trump’s behavior or Rhetoric.

It is too late to go back to the way things were. Because of the way things were we have ended up with how things are. Why would we want a return of the condition which led us here? If we what want is something different then we must set a new course. If, by a miracle, we avert disaster, how could this experience change anything, think Nazi Germany? Could there be a master plan? Have I witnessed a perfect storm when the unsuspecting masses having fed from the trickle down trough so long that they accept whatever is placed in front of them–believing it is sustenance?

How can I suspend my judgment and listen to them? How will I benefit from perceiving their delusion of democracy? If I only learn one thing, may it be that I can effectively DEAL with attitudes and ideas I do not share.
