Everything in the universe is connected, and the main structuring principle is always the same, namely fractal geometry.

That is why waves resemble hair resemble grasses resemble ripples.

Woodworm labyrinths resemble suns resemble butterflies resemble venuses.

These intricate patterns only become visible once the dead tree’s bark comes peeling off.

I cannot help but love the delicate beauty of decay, the ephemeral structure of destruction.

The fact that nothing lasts and everything will eventually uncurl into something else can be comforting thought, too.
