This slight, dark night

in this slight dark night,
the half-moonlight perched above
like a half-eaten piece of a sweet,
only sound of crickets accompanying us,
without ears, listening, without lips, speaking,
let our silent eyes liaise!

covered in a blanket full of dreams,
let our imaginations wander,
let us soak, in the water,
flowing from the river of these moments,
let us get drenched, totally!

without speaking, without listening,
let this slight dark night,
only be yours and mine!

A heart that finds solace in mountains, the whispers of old buildings, silences, books, poetry and football.
