After 2 weeks of camping and of being in the moment along the Maryland shore, I pulled into my stoney driveway and was greeted with a light carpet of maple leaves which had fallen while I was gone. Getting out of the car, a subtle sadness for the passing of a season quickly filled my soul. But as I approached the walkway the pleasant surprise of the white trumpets of these Labor Day Lillies seemed to call out to me “It’s not over yet!” And then, I smiled, and I was home again.
