Wires to Beets

We changed our diets, my wife and I,

It has altered our heads.

I say our heads, but there is much more.

My cravings for something sweet, usually chocolate,

Impose themselves like a sweet memory.

Now, I experience the difference between nourishment and fullness.

One nourishing meal sates my hunger for an entire day.

Larissa compared the six pounds of beets — organic of course,

With an eighteen pound section of wire mesh wall — this wall fits inside our tent.
