Your Rainbow

I like you
In all your rawness
Before your mind
Comes in to dress
You in ideas and judgements.
That naked purity
Of your being
Of your feeling.
I like you most then,
So come as you are,
Without any pretences,
I know, I know,
It’s not easy to show your vulnerability,
To revel in your authenticity
But that’s where your strength is.
As that’s where true presence is.
You are not the mask you wear
All day
Tiring yourself out, pretending you know the way,
Come as you are,
I’ll hear you out,
I’ll not avert my gaze.
Free yourself from
What keeps you caged.
