Grip is a social professional network that makes it easy for professionals to discover new opportunities by bringing every professional, just a handshake away.

Today we are introducing user-generated communities on iOS. Making it possible for you to start growing your own community to help professionals connect and share their passion.

Traditionally meeting new professionals has mainly been done at events and conferences. Unfortunately, this means that it takes a lot of time, is highly dependent on your location and puts a tremendous limit on the professionals you can meet.

We believe starting a dialogue with like-minded people and discovering new opportunities should be possible from wherever you are in the world.

That is why we are introducing user-generated communities so you can build your own place for people in your industry to get handshakes and start dialogues.

Spread the word, share the news on Twitter!

Grip introduces user-generated communities, the next step towards a better way for professionals to connect and discover new opportunities.

Starting your own community is simple. On the communities screen, you will now find a “+” in the top right corner. Tap it to type in the name of your community, that’s it!

To make sure the quality of the communities on Grip stays high 10 people have to join it, in order to start getting handshakes with fellow members.

To to achieve this, we made it easy for you to instantly share the community with your network.

We also ask new members to share the community with their network.
