Follow Tags on Medium

Fill your Feed with the things that matter to you

Tags are the glue that organize Medium stories into topics. When you tag your story, other people can discover it if they’re interested in that topic. We wanted to make it even easier to find stories that match your interests. If you find a topic — a tag — that you like, you can now follow it.

On every tag page, you can follow that tag directly from the top right of the page. Here’s a few suggestions to get started: you might be interested in stories about travel, climate change, entrepreneurship, or cats.

When you follow a tag, you’ll see stories published to that tag on your home page. If a story is from a tag you follow, the tag is in the top right corner.

Your home page also gives you quick access to the tags you follow. They’re just below the Featured Tags on the right.

And on every tag page, you can quickly navigate through tags you follow. They’re also on the right, just below Related Tags.

We didn’t forget about email! When new stories are published to a tag you follow, Medium puts those stories in a special section of your email digest just for tags.
