My warm
House, I rest
Cozy, warm, fed.
Cream of mushroom soup,
Freshly made: steaming hot.
A scented candle burns, glows.
Heaters and blankets keep me warm,
As winter creeps slowly into town.
The cats feel the chill, cuddle on my lap.
