2024 WRITING PROMPT JOURNEY
Non-Fiction Writing Prompts — Week Thirty-Nine
Writing prompts for September 22nd to 28th
Welcome to Week Thirty-Nine of our 2024 Writing Prompt Journey!
Without further ado, your three new non-fiction writing prompts await you below to provoke your creativity and guide your journal writing, blog posts, or random literary creations! Enjoy!
The simple rules for this Journey:
- Pick a prompt (or two or three!) and get writing.
- Post in our Publication, or post anywhere! Make sure to share a link in your post back to this Prompt post.
- Share a link to your prompted writing in the comments (or tag me in the post so I can find your prompted responses and help others find and support them too).
- Tag your post with “Writing Prompt Journey” and “Nonfiction”.
Prompt 1
September 27th is World Tourism Day! Where is your favorite region or town to visit in the world? What are your favorite touristy things to do when you get there?
Prompt 2
Revisit a memory from your childhood, but consider how that memory may look if viewed from the perspective of someone else who was there with you. Does this change how you view this memory?
Prompt 3
Explore a time when you found beauty in something that would not be conventionally considered beautiful. How did that make you challenge your former ideas of beauty?
Remember to check out the Poetry and Fiction Prompts for Week Thirty-Nine for more inspiration. You can also go back to see the previous weeks’ prompts here.
And please don’t forget to put links to your prompted posts in the comments, and link back to this post in your writing so more people can join the journey. I can’t wait to see what you come up with!
If you’re enjoying my prompts, and want to help keep me caffeinated and energized… please feel free to buy me a coffee. Your support is so very much appreciated!
