Ecobiologists study lifeforms and their environments. It’s a wide open field, as its proponents discover how very little work has been done to date. They keep finding huge gaps. We don’t even have names for the vast majority of lifeforms on Earth, let alone what other lifeforms rely on them, or that they rely on, or under what conditions they thrive.
