Writing a Medium post to put off going to the gym
It’s incredible how I can find the time to do something I don’t want to do if there’s something I don’t want to do EVEN more.
It’s a Tuesday morning. I’ve been meaning to get back in the gym for ages. And I’ve decided that today is the day.
I got up, washed, put on gym kit, ate a protein-rich breakfast and now I’m here still at the kitchen table, writing this.

It’s not raining outside, so it’s not the weather putting me off. It’s knowing that the gym is going to be HARD WORK.
I haven’t been for so long, it’ll be like starting again and it’s going to hurt.
I’ve booked back in this Saturday to train with my personal trainer and she takes no prisoners.
