Barack Obama on what it takes to be successful
Politics aside, Obama’s journey from a kid in Hawaii to the White House is a respectable one, to say the least.
In addition to all of the things he knows about the world, it’s safe to assume he knows a thing or two about what it takes to be successful.
In this interview with Derek Jeter, Obama says that the key to success is to
“Find what your passionate about, and then just work your tail off. Success will come out of you putting your all into that passion.”
Another quote from Obama that really struck a chord with me was the following:
“Being interested and engaged in life is the single most important pathway to success”
That’s a short statement with HUGE meaning, definitely worth looking back at from time to time
This reminds me of another quote from Steve Jobs…
