It was an honor having Shawn Fontaine on the Success Club Mastermind Show.

About Shawn

Shawn is a creative, free-thinking entrepreneur who has built the thriving business Vybe Source.

Inspired by The Law of Attraction and some of the teachings of Bob Proctor, he built Vybe source to help bring the message of wanting and doing more to a mass audience, something we can very much relate to at the Success Club.

About VYBE Source

With his business partner, Spencer Taylor, who happened to be the personal videographer for Bob Proctor, they have been able to build Vybe Source into a catalyst to help the younger generation understand the power of our imagination and creativity.

VYBE stands for “Visualize Yourself Better Everyday”

As a business, they a promote creative thinking and visual design by enabling their artists to express themselves and earn a profit while doing so.

They are working on launching a new store where they have a program that allows some of the best digital artists of our time to monetize their work, calling it “The Digital Renaissance”

Biggest Obstacles

Shawn says that the obstacles he faces often come from when he relies on others to lead him. While he does find inspiration from other, his deepest visions and inspiration have always come from inside himself.

Biggest Influences

  • Neville Goddard
  • Gary Vaynerchuk

Shawn finds a lot of inspiration in the writings of Neville Goddard, particularly “The Power of Awareness” and “Prayer: The Art of Believing

Advice to entrepreneurs:

1) Know who your target market is and the interest of your ideal customer.

This is similar to the advice by Tony Robbins

“Don’t fall in love with your product, fall in love with your customer”

2) Tap into your own mind to find out, “Why are you drawn to your idea?”

He says that, as entrepreneurs we often build companies by “scratching our own itch.”

3) Find platform you really like and where your product would really fit well.

If your selling course online, look at platforms like Udemy, Skillshare, or Udacity. If your thinking of doing some kind of crowdfunding, look into Indiegogo, AngelList, or Crowdfunder.

This is great advice. Get to know the platforms, how they operate, and how your business or product might fit in.

4) Negative comments are the best feedback. Get to know your comment section, because its a gold mine.
