Issue #4: My Great-Grandmother Maria

Imagine your spouse leaves to work in a dangerous new industry, in a country thousands of miles away, and you have no way to communicate. You have to pray they survive each day and hope things get good enough for you to join them someday.

Maria Vincenza Perillo was born on January 6th, 1883 in Muro Lucano, Potenza, Basilicata, Italy. She came to America on November 24th, 1905–17 months after her husband Federigo.
