This year is off to a strong start. We have already planted 24 new churches!

It’s fun to watch what areas of the world get hot throughout the year. Nicaragua is a country that has been especially active recently. Our Director over Central America, James Pursifull, was in the region and sent some inspiring updates from the field that we wanted to share with you…

This Surge Project church was planted several years ago. When it started it was a muddy field with a tent. Look at their beautiful church property now!

We helped Pastors Jairo and Rosa launch this plant in San Marcos, Nicaragua four years ago. They are now planting a new church out of this church.

Another new Surge Project church plant is building their initial worship space in Reparto Orento Zenteno, Nicaragua. This church will be lead by Pastors Daniel and Sandra Sequeira.

Eleven years ago, a Surge church was planted in Jinotepe, Nicaragua. Now that church is in the process of constructing a new 2,500 seat auditorium on this spot with Pastors Rudy and Christian Palacios.

This church was just planted in January of this year in Ciudadela SAN Martin, Nicaragua with Pastor Julio Tenorio!

These are just a few highlights from all the amazing things that have been happening in Central America. So much has already been accomplished and there is so much we still need to do! There are currently 154 pastors waiting to be planted in this region and around the world to reach more people with the Gospel!

Your support makes the difference. When you support the Surge Project, your ensuring new Jesus-centered communities begin where they’ve never been before. Thank you for all you do!
