More fun and less stress at work in an ever changing world, is that even possible?

As leaders, we need to contribute to an ongoing but peaceful transformation, with a culture that puts people at the heart of the organization, with a clear purpose and common goals to strive for.

To be successful, we need to be a flexible and learning organization where everybody can contribute where it generates the most value. Our culture is caring, purpose-driven and focused on collaboration. It’s fun and inspiring to be at work.

Recently we released our updated manifesto #3. It focuses on what is most important for us now and in the coming years. Independence and trust are found here as well as in SVT:s core values as a public service journalistic company. For SVTi it relates to being stable and reliable, accessible and relevant — which in a global situation with increased uncertainty is more important than ever.

We focus on inclusion and climate change, to make conscious choices and to have a sustainable mindset.

Based on the manifesto we keep track of job satisfaction, inclusion, tech quality and our carbon footprint. Our goal is to develop public service for future generations in massive global competition, and the only way forward is to shape/create an interesting and fun workplace, to attract the best talent and be creative and efficient together.

The manifesto is a co-creation and a process. It starts from a blank paper and springs from discussions between many different people, with a wide range of knowledge and experiences. It’s meant to be part of our everyday work and to be challenged on a daily basis. After a couple of years we’ll throw it in the bin and start all over again. We do so to challenge ourselves. We keep calm and act for change.
