Woody holding his presentation about team building in mob programming

A few days ago, we at SVTi had the honor of participating in a workshop held by Woody Zuill.

Zuill is a well known coach in the software world. He improves the teamwork in workplaces by guiding and helping people. He does this by holding workshops, talks and presentations on agile topics and mob programming.

During his visit here at SVT he held an appreciated workshop for an entire day. Until lunch he held an presentation about the importance of being a good teamplayer. The presentation itself was very informative, insightful and interactive because we got to write our own ideas on post-it notes which he then discussed with the group.

After a nice lunch it was time to practice what Zuill had preached :) We were divided into smaller groups and got instructions about the task. The task was to practice mob programming. Specifically the roles as the driver, navigator and observer while keeping the importance of how to be a respectful team player in mind.

At the end of the day we all went home with more open minds and newer perspectives on mob programming from a very rewarding day.

As a matter of fact today most of SVT:s 25 teams practice mob programming on a regular basis!

Thank you, Woody!
