Detectives from Red Lion Station are seeking the public’s help with identifying victims of jewelry thefts that have occurred over the past several years in Burlington County.

On April 21, Bordentown troopers arrested a 42-year-old woman, of Medford Township, for the theft of more than $2,000 worth of jewelry from a Hainesport Township home.

During the past month, Red Lion Station troopers have been investigating a theft of approximately $11,000 worth of jewelry that was stolen from a Shamong Township home.

Through various investigative means, detectives have determined that the woman is connected with various thefts over the past several years in the Burlington County area. During at least one of the thefts, the woman was employed by the victim as a pet sitter. She stole jewelry from the home of her employer and sold the proceeds to various pawn stores.

Anyone who has employed this woman as a pet sitter over the past several years is encouraged to inventory their jewelry. Possible victims are asked to contact the Red Lion Station Detective Bureau at (609) 859–2282.
