What Happens When You Jump Rope Daily?
I Did Jump Rope for 30 Days Straight
I Started Jump Roping Every Day for a Month, and Here’s What Changed
This article is completely written by humans aka me, no AI.
If you’ve ever tried getting into a consistent exercise routine, you probably know that finding the right workout can be overwhelming.
And jump rope is no exception!
The problem is that jump rope often gets overlooked as a “kid’s activity” or something boxers do for training.
Jump rope is actually a powerful cardio exercise that burns calories and improves coordination.
However, many people avoid it due to perceived difficulty or thinking it’s too basic. I was like that too but I quickly changed my mind, let’s see what my journey was like.
Why Did I Decide to Start Jump Roping?
So why would someone want to start jump roping? Aside from getting fitter and feeling more energetic, there’s another benefit to jumping rope daily.
This simple exercise helps improve your cardiovascular health while being low-impact on your joints compared to running.
It also leads to better coordination and agility, which benefits you in daily life.
At first, I was really bad at it, but there’s something amazing that happens with our brains. While we sleep they process information and organize it in a way that’s more efficient and prepares us better.
I learned this when I was little and I was watching a documentary randomly on TV. This stuck with me and at the time I was learning to juggle a football. I was bad at first but that information stuck with me.
As days passed I got better at juggling and I truly believed that we get better at doing a task when we sleep because of those reasons.
The same thing happened with jumping rope for me.
