Are you a fan of food? Can you write up recipes, add a dash of wonder to the world of food history, or talk up a new place in town? Awesome. You might want to submit your work to us.
Submission Guidelines
If you want to have your stuff published, we ask that you do the following to ensure that you’ve got a quality article. We have the right to reject work that is not up to snuff or ask for edits.
We ask that you please don’t take it personally if we ask for edits or reject your writing. It’s part of being a writer and it’s part of honing your craft!
- Please make sure your stuff is grammatically correct and properly spelled.
- A subheader (H3 underneath the title) is always required.
- Titles have to have the first letter of every word capitalized.
- Use H2s and H3s, plus properly licensed and attributed photos to divide up the article. No one likes a wall of text!
- You must have one of the following tags “cookbook review,” “food history,” “restaurant review,” “product review,” “celebrity chef,” or “recipe” added to your submission.
- Calls to action and putting your work behind a paywall is A-OK! You’ve got to eat, ya know!
