How to Become a Writer

Please read this entire article. All rules are mandatory to write with us.

1. Follow this publication to help it grow and not miss the published stories.
2. Follow the editors, Karan Kumar and Mehak Adlakha, to appreciate their hard work.
3. Leave a response on this article with your handle (for example, mine is @karanktech).
4. If you’d like, give this story some claps to help our publication grow. (optional)

Allow us a few hours to add you as a writer, as we are in the IST time zone.

We’ll clap and reply to your response as soon as we see it. This means that you are now added as a writer.

Requirements and Rules of Submissions

Publish your technical/career-oriented stories.

• We Publish any topics related to the big world of jobs and careers and of course, all the technical and programming jargon.
• To publish any other topic, use our sister publication: The Live. Love. Laugh. Pub. They won’t be published here.

We only accept drafts.

• As of now, we only accept drafts to help us review the stories before submission (although, we’d love for you to break this rule for apparently no reason, so, try your luck here with your previous ones).
• Please keep your private notes open for us to be able to drop review notes to your draft stories.
• If/when the review notes are resolved (if any) — voila! Your story will be published with us.

No AI writing.

• No one is a fan of AI writing (it would hamper your growth here as well).
• However, using AI to assist you in the writing process is fine! (which you need to mention at the end of your story)

Grammar / Punctuation

• Please use tools like Grammarly or Quillbot to enhance your writing.
• We’ll also be using Grammarly to edit your minor grammatical mistakes (which might not be notified).

Final Note from The Editors

• Please make sure you follow the mandatory rules before anything else.
• We will only make minor changes from our end before publishing. If you wish to communicate with us, drop us a private note on our recent story.
• We believe in your growth and will provide tips for writing great stories in private notes, hoping you won’t mind.
• We are still learning as well and would love to hear your feedback to improve.
• Please allow us a few hours to review and publish your submissions, as we are in the IST time zone.
