The Pro Display XDR Costs $5,000!!
But Why?
Introduction
“Believing is Seeing” was the quote Apple used Back in December of 2019, as Apple shocked the world and decided to release their very premium monitor, the Pro Display XDR, which sold for 5,000 dollars and that is even without a stand, and now, it has been almost two years, and their beloved monitor still sells for the same enormous price tag, but why?
And why would someone pay this much for a single monitor, when they could buy 5 new monitors for probably half as much?
Being fair while comparing
Now, the Pro Display XDR is truly expensive when it is compared to any normal monitor that an average person has ever bought, however, this comparison is not at all fair to start with, since comparing a high-end monitor made for professionals to the average low-end monitors that we use in our homes for consuming content or gaming, for example, is not at all a fair comparison.
You don’t expect a professional musician who makes music for a living to own the same set of headphones as you do. He or she would, of course, own a rather expensive version of them made specifically for those who need the highest quality of audio, but what do people who need the highest quality of video buy then?
