A report this spring from The Information said that Netflix was looking for an executive to lead its drive into gaming, to offer an Apple Arcade or Xbox Game Pass-like membership group. As first reported by Bloomberg, the streaming organization has recruited Mike Verdu as its VP of game advancement, answering to COO Greg Peters.

Agreeing to Bloomberg, Netflix could offer games directly close to its other streaming substance “inside the following year” recorded as another class, very much like narratives or whatever else, without charging extra for the experience.

Verdu is a previous executive who has insight with portable gaming organizations like Zynga, ran EA Mobile for a year, and most of late has been working at Facebook acquiring a series of Oculus game engineers like BigBox VR, creator of Population: One.
