On Tuesday, March 21, 2017 Apple announced iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus (PRODUCT) RED special edition to fight AIDS. Apple brought the iPhones with a view to celebrating 10 years of partnership between RED and the technology giant.

WHAT IS RED?

RED is an organization which fights against AIDS intending to create an AIDS free generation. Contributing to the global fund to fight AIDS, consumers can buy iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 plus with wonderful finish. To bring the world on step closer to the AIDS free generation it is a praiseworthy initiative.

Apple CEO, Tim Cook praised the Apple customers saying, “Since we began working with (RED) 10 years ago, our customers have made a significant impact in fighting the spread of AIDS through the purchase of our products, from the original iPod nano (PRODUCT) RED Special Edition all the way to today’s lineup of Beats products and accessories for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch”. “The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT) RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands.”

Both iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus will be available in 128 GB and 256GB at the price $749. The box contains ear Pods with lightening connectors, lightening to USB, 5W USB power adapter, lightening to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter, and the RED iPhone.

The special (PRODUCT) RED edition iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 plus will be available from March 24, 2017. From that day customers can order the phone online worldwide and in stores.
