Asus ZenWatch 3 seems to get a round screen

The third generation of the Asus ZenWatch will probably get a round screen. This is evident from documents submitted to the FCC. Asus’s new wearable may be announced at the upcoming IFA fair.
In the documents, a small number of details about the new Asus watch is identified. The biggest change seems to be the choice for the round screen. This can be deduced from the fact that the documents contain a picture of a round label that needs to enter on the back of the watch.

In the past two ZenWatch-generation, Asus has always chosen to provide the watches with a rectangular screen. Other manufacturers have also previously changed tack, as did Samsung last year with the first round gear S2. For example, the Moto 360 also features a round screen.
On the label what further seen is the housing is made of stainless steel and the watch features a 5V / 2A charger. The FCC documents also reveal the Wi-Fi n and Bluetooth 4.2 features in the smartwatch.
