Facebook is celebrating Olympics with its SnapChat-style selfie feature

Facebook has started testing a new selfie feature in its mobile app; days after Instagram launched its stories feature. Both the features borrow more than a little from Snapchat– reported TechCrunch.
The feature is currently live only in Canada and Brazil. So, for now, you can have the fun only you’re a Canadian or Brazilian. It’s available on iOS and Android in Canada and only on iOS in Brazil.

After you open the Facebook app on your mobile, there will be a prompt to open your phone’s camera and take a selfie, including the option to add Olympic-themed face filters and directly share their profile. For instance, you can stamp your face with virtual flags or support slogans, which move with the lines of your face.
Facebook admits that the feature was inspired by SnapChat and may be available worldwide if people currently testing the feature like it.
