Good news for Musicians these days!

2 days ago, Apple has successfully launched two of its updates to its music store app for composing music; hence, iPhone and iPad have become more useful for musicians that use Apple device(s).

The first update is the development of a brand new iOS app called “Music Memos” that is quite similar to one of its old app called “Voice Memos.” As a result, this application is bound to turn songwriting and composing much simpler and easier.

On the contrary, Voice Memos application had one little flaw that could only capture live human voice but not music; thus resulting in a more compressed audio file stored on your phone’s memory card.

The latest app “Music Memos” has the ability to store music at 24 bit, along with a default tuner for tuning your guitar. This tuner can be used practically for tuning any sort of playing instruments.

This can portray the notes you are playing using your instrument by analyzing acoustic guitar or keyboard recordings. For better playback, you also have the ability to add bass lines and drum beats for a better picture regarding how your music will sound after completely composing your song.

That’s not all, utilizing this application you can later share your work using SoundCloud or Youtube. For full and complete editing, you can later import your music on your Mac.

It already has a default microphone that works great; moreover, you can attack extra microphones with this application if needed.

According to the professional musician, Ryan Adams:

“Sometimes ideas come faster than I can get them into my notebook so I’ve used Voice Memos and Notes to quickly capture songs before they’re lost. Music Memos is like if those two apps came together to form some kind of superpower for songs,” said Ryan Adams, critically acclaimed singer-songwriter and producer. “It quite literally blew my mind how Music Memos could transform a single guitar idea into a whole composition with a virtual drummer loose enough that it felt like you were having your mind read by some AI musician and a choice of stand-up or electric bass accompaniments.”

This is a brilliant device as well as a great means for assisting musicians to record, edit, compose and even create their own rhythm using GarageBand on iOS phone or tablet. Also, read about Apple’s wireless earbuds for an amazing music listening experience.
