Google’s New YouTube Video Shows You More by Moving Your Phone Around

For the first time, Google has released an interactive video on YouTube, called “Special Delivery” which will show you more of the film when you move your phone around.
This is Google’s interactive “Spotlight Stories” a 3D video in the form of a short cartoon film. This video seems like a live viewing scenario when you move your eyes you can see more hidden things. Now, the same thing is going to happen with Google’s interactive video which also shows you more but instead of your eyes, you move your mobile device.
It is only designed to work with Google Cardboard, the cardboard box that turns a smartphone into a 3D virtual reality device. But no one needs the cardboard to watch the film in 3D mode.
Aardman Animation filmed Google’s “Special Delivery” in a style much reminiscent of Pink Panther. The story is about a caretaker who is surprised by a mysterious stranger causing mischief on the roof in Christmas evening. The stranger remains out of sight, leaving a trail of gifts behind but the caretaker’s investigation and chase is on after the stranger.

Here are some examples of the “Special Delivery” animation:
A band that gets louder and louder: You have to Swivel around to see them in 3D while they are playing in three windows.
A boy dreaming of a bike: You can see what Santa brings to him in 3D and what happens when he gets too excited.
