GROWING ONCE AGAIN
The company grew rapidly until 2011 but then had to deal with years of contraction. Since the second quarter of 2015, the company was at loss. According to the company, things are going better again towards success in the smartphone and virtual reality division. Also, the costs are well under control.
Exact sales quantity of HTC phones and the company’s Vive glasses are not known. HTC itself is a small player in the smartphone market, but it was made accountable for manufacturing Pixel phones for Google.
