Images Leaked of Xiaomi’s Next 6.4-Inch Phone

A couple of hours ago we got to know about a future Xiaomi phablet — the Xiaomi Max. In the meantime, two or three photographs have also surfaced, and they appear to be coming straight from the production line. The shots show the device’s front panel and it’s huge.

Its panel looks especially in accordance with Xiaomi’s outline dialect Compact side bezels, capacitive keys on the chin, earpiece and sensor array. Not at all like the present flagship Mi 5, however, there’s no home button with a fingerprint sensor. Don’t get worried, however, as the sources say that such a sensor will be found on the back like with the Redmi Note 3 and the Mi 4s.

To the extent specs go, it’s just the Snapdragon 820 SoC that is by all accounts settled on. Indeed, even the resolution of that immense 6.4-inch display hasn’t been uncovered.

The time of launch is still obscure, yet the source mentions it will be the month of May.

Xiaomi ran a poll to decide the name of its next phone last week. Of the four alternatives — Xiaomi Pro, Xiaomi Plus, Xiaomi Big, and Xiaomi Max — the last one got the most number of votes, while the one before that came in second.
