Nest makes it possible to save and share video clips

An update for the Nest Android app introduces the ability to save and share video clips from the security cameras. There is now support for Android TV so you can watch live images on the TV screen.

The main innovation of the Nest update is the ability to save and share video clips. Nest offers two options: an instaclip and a custom clip. In an instaclip, there is an algorithm to recognize the action and saves those images so that you get an instant video. You can decide what and how much you prefer to save, with the custom clip. A movie is saved to the phone memory. It can also be shared via the Android share menu.

The update also adds support for Android TV.

The Nest app is free to download in the Play Store. It logically only works with Nest cameras and other Nest products.
