Oculus Will Help You Travel through Farlands

How about travelling through a whole new world with the help of Oculus Rift? Why not, you can have it now. Oculus headset will give you a different VR experience. It has introduced Farlands. This virtual reality adventure, built with Unreal Engine 4 and designed specifically for the Rift, lets you visit and explore a planet filled with exotic life.

Every Rift that comes with Oculus Dreamdeck is a unique set of VR vignettes designed to introduce you to the world of virtual reality. Created using Unreal Engine 4 (UE4), it hints at the adventures you are about to have in Rift.

At GDC 2016, along with the launch day line-up it revealed a couple weeks ago, the company has now unexpectedly introduced Farlands. Farlands is a tiny alien world that comes with your Rift. It is a new kind of VR experience created by Oculus that has built with Epic’s UE4 and designed for Rift. Players are dared to explore the alien world’s landscape, as well as discover new forms of life, including bugs, fish and plants, which you can then develop relationships with.

According to Oculus, every day you play will bring a fresh opportunity to find strange creatures wander around previously unknown habitats. If you have your Rift already, you can download Farlands for free starting today.
