OnePlus’ next smartphone won’t be called OnePlus 4
Last year the Chinese tech giant OnePlus released its flagship called OnePlus 3t and therefore following this trend in this year the new flagship is supposed to be dubbed as OnePlus 4. Unfortunately, this is not going to happen, because in China people always consider the number 4 as an unlucky number. So, the company prefers to dub its next flagship as the OnePlus 5 instead of the OnePlus 4. This is according to a Korean website called Koreanportal.com.
In the coming new flagship OnePlus 5, the smartphone is expected to appear with a dual edge display like Galaxy S7 edge. Also along with a glass body which is made of ceramic like the Xiaomi Mi Mix smartphone. Furthermore, the flagship will have 6 or 8GB of RAM, a 23 megapixel back camera with a 16-megapixel front camera.
Besides that, it is not clear as of yet which chipset the company will use in its next flagship. It is expected that OnePlus will go with a Snapdragon 830. Another report said that the phone will have a USB Type-C port along with the usual fast charging, and a 4,000mAh battery.
The company didn’t officially say anything about its new flagship, so let’s take this info with a pinch of salt. Let’s wait to see the facts about this phone.
