Samsung Galaxy S8 gets 4K screen and dual camera

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was released just a few days ago, and the first rumors about the Samsung Galaxy S8 have already started to appear online. According to the latest news, Galaxy S8 is equipped with two cameras on the back and makes it debut next year in February. However, there is still a long way to the announcement, so it is wise to take these rumors with the usual grain of salt.

According to sources, the Samsung Galaxy S8 will be launched in February with a dual camera on the back and an iris scanner at the front, a feature that we now know of the Note 7. One camera would have an aperture of f / 2.0, while the second camera with an aperture of f / 2.3 so that less light is dropped on the sensor. It is still unclear how the technology works behind the camera module.

Samsung and Sony will be responsible for the production of the cameras, similar to the current situation of the Galaxy S7 series in which it is completely arbitrary which sensor is used there. In addition, the Galaxy S8 would be equipped with a 4K display that capacity has to switch back to 2K to extend battery life.

How seriously should we take the rumors is difficult to estimate, however, we see that more and more manufacturers choose two cameras on the back, including the LG V20, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus and Huawei P9. In addition to a dual camera, there is a talk of a new Exynos 8895-soc and that may be only a single variant with a curved screen on the market next year, which would mean that we need not rely on the Galaxy Edge S8.

If you cannot wait for this any longer, than the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is a great alternative. This new phablet will carry a retail price tag of 849.00 euros.
