Samsung pay service officially launches in India

You may remember that last year in December we reported that in the first half of 2017 Samsung might bring its Samsung Pay service in India. Now finally it has arrived in the country. Today the company officially announced that Samsung Pay service is active in India. Since last week Samsung had started taking registrations for early access to its mobile payments.

Here is the list of the banks: Axis, HDFC, ICICI, SBI, and Standard Chartered bank. These are all banks where you can use your credit, debit cards, or MasterCard and Visa. Besides these, there is one more bank, The Citibank which is supposed to be added soon to the list. However, there is another way to use Samsung Pay which is the Paytime wallet accounts in the Samsung app.

Right now in India Samsung Pay works on these Samsung gadgets: Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 edge, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 edge+, Galaxy A5 (2016), and the Galaxy A7 (2016). But in the future, there will be more gadgets added to the list. As we know that the company is updating some of its gadgets in India which include Samsung Pay service in the device.
