Apple watch 3, the next generation of the watch series, is going to be unveiled at the end of the year with a cellular connectivity which may be the replacement of iPhones in some ways. People will be able to get emails, send text messages, download music, and also can make phone calls, this is according to a live interview with Mark Gurman fromBloomberg.

INTEL IS ALSO ON BOARD

The report also recited that the tech giant is currently in talks with some major carriers like AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon respectively in the USA and in Europe to sell their cellular connected Apple Watch to the market. By the way, Intel will provide the LTE modem for this device.

It is not sure yet as to how Apple would set up its phone call functionality in its cellular connected watches but obviously, Apple won’t do anything crazy with its next watch so that it won’t become a threat for iPhones, which is the core revenue source for the company.

On the other hand, shortly after the live interview at Bloomberg, John Gruber published a report in a blog called “Daring Fireball” in it he states, the next Apple Watch will look and work differently than our expectations, and it may be sold along with the iPhone 8.
