The next great innovation from Apple is — a paper bag

Whenever you think about Apple, you can only imagine iPhones, iPads, MacBooks and so many latest gadgets the company ever created. Also, there are some innovative patents the company filed such as Gear VR style headsets, sliding function to unlock the phone, MacBook with a touchscreen keyboard, even an all-glass iPhone. And now, the latest innovation from the Silicon Valley’s think different darling is a paper bag.

Originally filed in March by Apple, the patent was published last week by the US Patent and Trademark Office, summarizing the bag as follows:

“A paper bag is disclosed. The paper bag may include a bag container formed of white solid bleached sulfate paper with at least 60% post-consumer content.”

Well, this is no smart bag with hidden wireless charging or Bluetooth connectivity. It’s just a typical bag that comes with such a high proportion of recycled material. The amount of bleach used to make white paper bags made out of recycled material, make them pretty flimsy. So, the alterations Apple has come up with could make its paper bag both pretty and environmentally friendly at the same time.

You may wonder why on earth we are addressing this paper bag as an innovation. You’re right. It’s not an innovation, it’s the innovation.
