Xiaomi Mi 5 Coming in February

Xiaomi will soon come out with its Mi 5 in China on February 24. It is coming in the market after 1.5 years of Mi 4. It is expected to be one of the most anticipated smart phones of 2016. The confirmation of the launch came in the form of a Weibo post from the Chinese company’s co-founder and Senior VP Liwan Jiang.

According to IDC, Xiaomi is now the third largest smartphone maker in the world followed by Lenovo and LG at fourth and fifth place respectively. Samsung remains at the first place despite declining shipment volume, followed by Apple Inc. at second place. Xiaomi also became the largest smartphone vendor in China in 2014, having overtaken Samsung, according to an IDC report.

But it is not sure when the phone will be launched in India. Mi 4 was launch in the country after 6 months of its global launch.

The smart phone will have some amazing features which will make it exclusive. The features of Mi 5 are given below –
5.2-inch display
• full-HD or QHD resolution.
• two memory and storage versions
• 3GB of RAM with 32GB inbuilt storage, and 4GB of RAM with 64GB storage.
• 16-megapixel rear camera and 13-megapixel front-facing camera.
• 3600mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 tech.

If it does unveil this device, it will be one of the first smartphones to sport Qualcomm’s latest processor, the Snapdragon 820.
