The 2016 season has already kicked off with a few tune up tournaments prior to the first slam of the year — the Australian Open! Last year, I had a lot of fun doing draw doodles for Roland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open. I am looking for a partner in crime in this effort so if you are interested, let me know! Before I jump into my preview, I would like to also present a competition hosted by The Tennis Notebook and Tennis Abstract called the Tennis Data Storytelling Challenge. We managed to put together a small prize via sponsors for the best visual story on patterns of play so click the image above to get the specifics on the challenge and rules! Last but not least — testing this new application for draw doodles. Hover over the image and check out the embedded links!
