Dapper Dinos x Tentaverse Official Collab — and What it Means to us.
When we decided to take on the responsibility of building our own NFT project, we made it a priority to assess all the projects we’ve been involved in and incorporate the key lessons we learned from each project into our own. As fans and early adopters of the web3 space, we were naturally inclined to participate in various projects from the jump. This allowed us to experience what a true community should look like — — and more importantly, what it shouldn’t look like.
We’ve been fortunate enough to be involved and whitelisted in some of, considerably, the best projects in the space, and conversely some projects that turned out to be complete rug pulls, where we lost every dollar we invested almost instantaneously after they minted.
These experiences, both good and bad, contributed to our growth as not only investors, but founders. They taught us precisely what characteristics propel a project forward into real and sustainable value creation, and which characteristics create a short-term pop then quickly fizzle out.
One of our core inspirations on how to build a supportive and friendly community came in the form of Dapper Dinos. This was an eye opening project. They exemplified how we can create a healthy, productive, and thriving community that deploys transparency and establishes a trust dynamic between the team and the members.
I discovered Dapper Dinos the day Gary Vee announced their project as his first PLP. As I dove into the project and joined the discord I felt an immediate palpable energy, which was unique to any other project I’d been a part of. I instantly knew that this is something I wanted to be involved in. Not to mention, I trusted Gary, so naturally I trusted Dapper Dinos. (FYI we’ve been hodlers ever since😉)
We are striving to foster that same energy at The Tentaverse with a mindset focused on the long-term.
