Eggs are good for periods and dealing with cramps. Spinach has iron. So, I put them together to make my Period Omelette.

You know how to make an omelette, right? Because frankly, this recipe isn’t for you if you have never cooked an omelette.

Wash the spinach leaves well. Chop them or tear them into bits, just like your endometrial lining is tearing itself up.

Beat the hell out of the eggs. Beat those eggs till they become all frothy.

Chop some onions . You don’t have to be perfect. Jamie Olivier isn’t your neighbour. Even if he is, who cares?

Heat oil in a nice frying pan, those which can be covered with a lid. Fry those darn onions till you smell them a little.

Now put those spinach leaves. Sautee them for a minute.

Add a dash of lemon juice, some salt & pepper. Vitamin-C in the lemon juice will ensure that the iron in your food is absorbed well.

Now, pour the beaten eggs evenly over the sauteed onions and spinach.

Cover the frying pan with the lid.

Lower the heat. Cook on steam for another 3-4 minutes.

The omelette will rise up. This method of making an omelette is so much better than frying both sides. Look, how beautiful it is. Kiss your hands, if managed to do this.

If you were lucky with the amount of oil and heat, then omelette will come off easily from the pan. If not, then scrap it off and eat it. It still has the goodness of all the ingredients.

I hope I can follow through this mission of documenting food which are good for my periods. Food which is good for periods is basically Food which is good for Everyone. So, shut up MRA’s.
