There’s no one new near you

A sadly funny tinder story.

Tinder. The popular dating app. I’m sure some of you may know, if not then it’s your basic app that uses your facebook information to get you matches with other people around you.

It’s simple, you’ll be presented with a number of other tinder users that are around your area and around your age limit. You swipe to the left to say you don’t like them and you swipe to the right to say you’re interested. If the person likes you back, then, as tinder likes to say, It’s a match!

Sadly that’s not the case for me.

I’ve been using tinder for a few months and have just enjoyed looking at the people that come up in my search results. But for some reason — perhaps reasons Idon’t want to admit — I can’t seem to get any matches. NOTHING AT ALL.

I told my friend about it and he decided to get it as well. After a few weeks I asked him how it was going, thinking that he’s suffer the same fate as me.

Match-less.

To my surprise, He told me he’s gotten matches with other people.

I was shocked, disheartened and slightly pissed off all at the same time. But it gets even worse.

It turns out that some of the people that came up as matches, we both liked. But they all matched up with him rather than me. I kept wondering what’s up with that. I just couldn’t understand.

At that moment there was nothing to do but laugh about it. I have to admit, it was pretty stupid and funny. It’s the internet, you’re not suppose to take things too seriously.
