Pisay releases NCE-RACE passers
After careful consideration of the 2880 students who have qualified for the second stage of admissions, the Philippine Science High School System (PSHSS) has revealed the 1706 applicants that are eligible to enroll as freshmen this incoming school year 2021–2022.
In a post published on its official Facebook page, the PSHSS congratulated the said applicants, with 85 undisclosed names in respect of the Data Privacy Act.
Qualifiers are then tasked to contact their chosen campus’s Registrar or Campus Director for more information about early enrollment.
Slot confirmations for future freshmen are due on March 6, 2021, for Main Campus qualifiers, while regional campus qualifiers should confirm by March 20, 2021.
It can be recalled that the list of Stage 1 qualifiers for the NCE-RACE was announced last January 23, as the deadline for the Stage 2 essay was last February 3.
As physical examinations were withheld due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the PSHSS has administered the National Competitive Examination — Requirements for Admission, Criteria, and Evaluation (NCE-RACE), a new system of admitting Grade 6 students across the country.
