Under the current circumstances wherein face-to-face classes are still prohibited for Philippine Science High School (PSHS) scholars nationwide, the PSHS-CRC school staff encouraged the parents and scholars (of age) to get vaccinated, in hopes for an early resume of face-to-face learning.

During the virtual General Student’s and Parent’s Orientation on August 31, PSHS-CRC Director Ramil A. Sanchez announced the modified rules and regulations that would be implemented in preparation for the new academic year.

According to Director Sanchez, PSHS scholars would still have remote and blended learning until December 2021. In regards of plans thereafter, no further announcements were communicated.

Parents and scholars were also required to maintain a permanent communication line with the school in case of any problems encountered and for monitoring purposes; full details of campus announcements can be found at https://crc.pshs.edu.ph.

Moreover, changes for the SCALE, ISP, and ALA programs have been made by the PSHSS in relation to the current health crisis.

New guidelines for the PSHS System Standard Transmutation Table of Grades were also implemented in response to the issue regarding the passing rate of PSHS students in college applications such as the UP College Admissions (UPCA).

Aside from the Moodle platform used by students, other means of online applications such as Viber, Messenger, Rock.so and Notion.so accounts will also be used for classes this year.

After the general briefing of the modified policies, CID Chief Mary Ann Ganzon displayed the class schedules for all grade levels based on the PSHS System Board of Trustees (BOT) Resolution No. 20200988.
