Rounding Up the Ta, Dula! E-Games Tournament 2020
With the conditions set by the Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Philippine Science High School — Caraga Region Campus (PSHS-CRC) had to adapt and find ways to celebrate its 8th Foundation Anniversary. Among the many adjustments PSHS-CRC made was the kicking off of the campus’ first-ever E-Sports tournament titled Ta, Dula! E-Games Tournament 2020.
Organized by the institution’s Student Government (SG), the tournament hosted 12 teams from all 6 batches, with each team composed of 6 players with 1 acting as the team captain competing in the popular MOBA game, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.

Semifinal Rounds
After a set of competitive matches in the quarterfinal rounds, only 4 teams remain from the 12 that joined the competition. These 4 teams must face their opponent in the same team as they are to decide who represents said team and advance to the finals for a chance to be crowned the first-ever champions of the Ta, Dula! E-Games Tournament.

Finals
The climax of this tournament: the finals. Two teams battling, giving it everything they’ve got. Glory, pride, and the bragging rights for their batches on the line. The final two teams, Kappa Kleb and EEYY, face-off in a final best-of-three series to decide the champions of the tournament. Despite the best efforts of EEYY, Kappa Kleb proved to be too much to handle as they took the series, 3–1, and brought home the crown.
“It was fun. Playing competitively is like scary but overall (a) good experience,” LMN8’s Lieka Mero remarked on the experience of competing in the tournament.
“Internet connectivity, lack of time to prepare, and lack of experience in hosting such events,” replied SG Vice-President Judd Bañas when asked about the biggest issues while holding the tournament. “(We would) as much as possible secure sufficient time to prepare, ask more people to facilitate the event, and improve information dissemination regarding the (future) games,” Bañas added.
